[ What follows is a prayer book that will be used in a ceremony. This has been taken from elsewhere in this forum. Newer versions can be found at the Gug Temple Altar most days. Might be more tweeking as the ceremony approaches.]
Priest : Talad's Blessings upon you! Praise Him!
Congregation: By praising we give worship.
Priest: It is said that Talad came to that place where the city of Gugrontrid now stands. He sat and meditated in suffrage and concentration for uncountable mortal years while building the energy of creation within Himself. He blended His own strength, thought and vision with the crystal power; as well as the land itself. In time He began to channel those energies into one form; forever changing the lands around Him. The release of that energy, and that drawn from the crystal, generated a brilliant halo of light. This was the first day of the Gugrontrid's temple's creation. It has been adopted as the first day of the calendar year. Many believe the first day of Unodin to be the brightest moment of the year; as the Azure sun lights up the morning sky. The temple rose from the stone within the glow of the Azure light.
Priest: After Talad had finished this creation He admired his work while walking the long stone way to the temple's confines; resting and summoning the Kra who honoured Him in their worship. A great feast was prepared by them; which Talad accepted by breaking His fast.
Priest: Not only has Talad given us great creations but great lessons as well. They are given so that our lives may be better by following His word and example. Talad's first lesson came during His creation of the Kran race. During their creation Talad accidentally harmed Laanx, His fellow God. Laanx fled to the stone labyrinths hiding from Talad and felt great anger toward Him. Despite this anger, Talad continues to wish Laanx well in the hope that some day Laanx will forgive Him for this unintentional harm. Talad's love towards Laanx and His great patience, while waiting for Her forgiveness, is His first lesson.
Priest: How may we serve Him?
Congregation: By loving with patience we serve Talad.
Priest: How may we show that love?
Congregation: By excepting with patience.
Priest: Then come to the altar and express your love for Talad through giving. Then walk through your days by excepting with patience. These are the lessons of Talad.
Priest: Talad's Blessings upon you.
(Congregation can now file to the altar leaving their offering to Talad}
